We understand that purchasing jewelry is a significant investment, and we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges are available.

2. Important Notice: FINANCED & LEASED ITEMS
Items purchased through lease-to-own or financing companies (including but not limited to Acima, Progressive Leasing, Katapult, or similar third-party financing providers) are FINAL SALE and are NOT eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.
By selecting these payment options at checkout, you acknowledge and agree that:

All financed/leased purchases are non-refundable and non-returnable

This policy applies regardless of the item's condition or time since purchase

You are responsible for all payments per your agreement with the financing company
This policy is necessary due to the nature of third-party financing agreements and the immediate disbursement of funds to us upon approval.
3. Return Eligibility
Eligible Items:

Ready-to-wear jewelry (paid via credit card, debit card, or cash) returned within 14 days of delivery

Items must be unworn, undamaged, and in original condition with all packaging and certificates

Original proof of purchase required
Non-Returnable Items:

All items purchased through financing/lease-to-own companies (Acima, Progressive Leasing, etc.)

Custom-designed pieces, special orders, and made-to-order jewelry (these are crafted specifically for you and cannot be resold)

Engraved or personalized items

Earrings and pierced jewelry for hygiene reasons

Items resized or altered by a third party

Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration

Gift cards

Items purchased more than 14 days ago
4. Refunds & Exchanges
Standard Returns:

Approved returns are eligible for a refund to the original payment method, minus any applicable fees

No store credit is offered—only refunds to original payment method

Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item

Original shipping fees are non-refundable

For international orders, customs duties, taxes, and shipping costs are not refundable
Restocking/Processing Fees:

A minimum 10% restocking fee may be applied to cover order preparation, handling, and processing costs

This fee is non-waivable as we do not offer store credit
Exchanges:

Exchanges are processed like returns; you receive a refund (minus fees) and place a new order
5. Custom & Made-to-Order Jewelry
Custom/Made-to-Order Items:

These items are created only upon customer order and undergo specialized manufacturing

Cancellation within 2 days: Full refund

Cancellation after 2 days: Refund after deducting making charges and stone charges

Once production begins, custom orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable
Engraved/Personalized Items:

Final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item :

Contact us within 7 days of receipt at info@monacodjewelry.com

We will assess the issue and provide:

Repair at no cost, or
-
Replacement of the same or equivalent value, or
-
Full refund including original shipping costs

Return shipping costs for faulty/incorrect items are covered by us.
Quality Assurance:

All diamonds are sourced with certifications (GIA/IGI where applicable)

If the characteristics of your diamond differ from the certificate, we will accept return/exchange accordingly
7. Return Process
To initiate a return, exchange, or refund :

Step 2: We will provide:

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

8. In-Store Returns (Miami Customers)
If you prefer to return in person at our 8410 W Flagler St #107B location :

Note: Items purchased through financing/lease-to-own companies cannot be returned in-store either
9. Gift Returns
If the item was purchased as a gift :

Gift recipient: Refund will be issued to the original purchaser's payment method (we do not issue store credit)

Original purchaser: Refund will be issued to the original payment method
10. Holiday Extended Returns
For purchases made between November 1 and December 24, 2025 :

Extended return window through January 15, 2026
